Viking appliances was founded by a husband who was building his wife a home and wanted to please her by including a commercial style oven that was both practical and safe for home use. While Viking refrigerators are not as well known as the ranges, they are equally impressive home appliances. They include features like a three-temperature wine cellar, a beverage center, ice and water options, and range in size to as much as forty eight inches. Dishwashers made by Viking have been industry leaders in offering user-friendly features like a hidden control pad, interior light, top and bottom wash-only cycles, and a special rack for knives.
